Some parents came to the scene to pick up their students, according to our photographer on the scene.
A Dayton Public Schools spokesperson said that the bus was stopped at a stop sign when the person, riding on a bike, ran into the side of the bus.
No additional information about the injured person was immediately available.
An officer at the scene declined comment.
The initial emergency radio traffic indicated the incident involved a pedestrian. This story has been changed to reflect a cyclist was involved.
