Beginning Monday, Nov. 22, proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test will not be required at Dayton Live venues.

The announcement coincides with the upcoming engagement of the Broadway national tour of “Cats,” which will perform Nov. 23-28 at the Schuster Center.

“Due to improving health conditions, we will be lifting the proof of vaccination requirement as of Monday, November 22,” said Ty Sutton, Dayton Live president and CEO, in a release. “We appreciate the patience and continued support from our patrons and donors. We’re encouraged that the numbers are improving for Dayton and Montgomery County.”

However, masks are still required for patrons 6 and older while in all Dayton Live venues, except when actively eating or drinking. Dayton Live staff and volunteers will also be required to wear a mask throughout performances.

Dayton Live encourages patrons to bring minimal items (keys, phone, wallet, etc.) to shows and no large bags. Coat check will not be available.

In addition to touchless ticket scanners, the organization has installed touchless faucets, soap dispensers and paper towel dispensers in all restrooms and increased hand sanitizing stations throughout all venues. MERV13 or greater air filters have also been installed in all air handling units, increasing the flow of outside air into all of its venues.
