One shot fired, nobody injured after early morning armed robbery on Yankee Street

DAYTON- An armed robber at the Yankee Street Country Inn and Suites reportedly fired a shot. Nobody was injured in the incident, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.

Initial reports show that a masked suspect took personal items from a victim and fired one shot. The incident occurred on Sunday morning at 1:55 a.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said.

The incident is still under investigation by the Special Investigations Unit of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
