The Miami County Prosecutor's Office said Monday it is investigating consumer fraud complaints against the operators of a wireless business that vacated a Troy property in late 2020.

TROY - The Miami County Prosecutor’s Office said Monday it is investigating consumer fraud complaints against the operators of a wireless business that vacated a Troy property in late 2020.

The complaints by consumers are being made against Joseph “Jason” Reed and Miranda Eve Richardson, doing business as Trojan Wireless, Metro PCS and Iron Wireless, at 722 W. Market St. in Troy, Tony Kendell, county prosecutor, said.

The complaints involve money being paid in advance for services not performed and not refunded along with failure to return property that was brought in for repairs.

The prosecutor’s office is asking anyone who has similar concerns or think they are a victim of fraud with one of the listed business to call 937-440-5960 and ask for Chief Investigator Jim Taylor.
