Troy police investigating weekend shooting tied to apparent drug trafficking robbery

A weekend shooting in Troy is connected to an apparent drug trafficking robbery, according to police.

Two males were dropped off at the Troy Hospital on Saturday around 10:45 p.m. with gunshot wounds before being transferred to Kettering Medical Center.

One of the victims was treated and released and the other was still hospitalized as of Sunday morning.

The shooting took place in the 400 block of Stonyridge Avenue.
