Vehicle flees after striking pedestrian in hit-and-run in Dayton

A vehicle fled after hitting a pedestrian in the knee with a vehicle in Dayton on Saturday morning.

Police received reports of a hit-and-run in the 300 block of East Fifth Street at 2:08 a.m., according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch. An unknown vehicle hit the person, dispatch said.

The vehicle was described as a blue Chrysler that fled the scene and was never located, dispatch said.
