‘American Ninja Warrior’ competitor part of Franklin ‘Night Out’ event tonight

National Night Out is meant to enhance the relationship between police departments and their neighborhoods. According to the National Night Out website, 122 locations in Ohio are registered to participate this year.

Franklin’s National Night Out will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 7, at Community Park and will feature James Wilson, also known as the Nati Ninja, who has competed on the TV show“American Ninja Warrior.” The event will also feature a special American Ninja Warrior course.

Free food and children’s activities will also be provided as well as equipment from local police and fire departments on display.

Across the Great Miami River, Carlisle will host its National Night Out event from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Roscoe Roof Park.

The event will feature free food as well as skydivers and a police canine demonstration.
