Springer homered on a full count to give the Astros a 3-0 lead against the Cleveland Indians and Flores paid off, treating fans in Section 104 at Minute Maid Park to some brews.
"I just love my team, man," Flores, 42, told the Chronicle. "I knew Springer was going to hit one, and I wanted everyone to know it. I called it."
“If @georgespringer hits a homerun, I’m buying everyone in the section a beer!” Springer hits a homerun. He buys us all beer. Heroes don’t always wear capes. @astros #crawfordbox pic.twitter.com/Qvg7p9LNkp

Everyone did not order a beer in Rows 2 through 9, but Flores offered the free suds for anyone who wanted the drink.
He was not going to back down from his promise.
"No way, I loved it," Flores said. "I was celebrating. It went out, we all went crazy and I went looking for the beer man."
When Jose Altuve followed Springer’s homer with a blast of his own, Flores opened his wallet again.
"We bought beer for seven rows straight," Flores told KTRK. "Then, it was back-to-back, so I bought another seven rows worth of beer."
Houston attorney Charles Adams received one of those free beers.
"I mean, I was more excited about the home run, but the beer added a little," Adams told KTRK. "I mean, our section went bananas."
The Astros won 7-2 on Friday. Flores said he'll be back for Game 2 on Saturday afternoon, presumably with his wallet refilled with cash.
