5 children injured in 2-vehicle accident in Dayton

DAYTON -- Five children have been taken to a hospital from a two-vehicle accident at Free Pike and North Gettysburg Avenue.

The injuries do not appear to be serious. The children are between 1 year and 5 years old.

The vehicles involved were a Camaro and a Park Avenue.

We're told that several of the children were not riding with restraints and there was one carseat in the sedan. The children were believed to have been tossed around in the car.

The drivers of both cars did not appear to be injured.
