Dayton police ask: Do you recognize man in Rosa Parks school break-in & theft?

UPDATE @ 2:33 p.m. (May 15): Dayton police are asking for the public's help to identify a man suspected in a break-in at Rosa Parks Elementary School.

The man was wearing a Detroit baseball hat, a denim and camouflage jacket with a flag on the back and bleached and ripped jeans, according to police.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information on the break-in should call police at 937-333-COPS or Miami Valley Crime Stoppers at 937-222-STOP.

INITIAL REPORT (May 14)

Dayton police were dispatched to Rosa Parks Elementary School, 3705 Lori Sue Ave., early Monday morning on reports of breaking and entering.

The suspect left with $275 cash and two projectors. The value of the stolen property totals $4,275, according to a Dayton Police Department incident report.
