Police: Alcohol a factor in motorcycle crash that injures 2 in Miamisburg

Alcohol is a factor in a motorcycle crash this evening that sent two people to the hospital, Miamisburg police said.

Crews were called around 6:45 p.m. to the intersection of North Heincke Road and Lindsey Avenue.

Miamisburg police said two people were on the motorcycle when the operator lost control, apparently while trying to turn from Heincke Road onto Lindsey Avenue.

Witnesses at the scene said the man and woman were not wearing helmets, but police could not confirm that report.

The man and woman, who were not identified, were taken to Kettering Medical Center with injuries that are not life-threatening. The operator faces a citation for suspected drunken driving, police said.
