Heavy rains this weekend are affecting the plans for some area festivals during a busy weekend in the Dayton area.

Beavercreek Popcorn Festival cancels for the rest of the weekend

The Beavercreek Popcorn Festival ended early on Saturday and will not reopen Sunday, according to a Facebook post on the festival’s page.

The festival had been scheduled to run until 8 p.m. today and then from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to its website.

Saturday concert at Levitt Pavilion cancelled

Levitt Pavilion has cancelled tonight’s Eichelberger Jazz Series concert featuring Paulie Cerra and Groove Legacy because of the weather.

The concert will not be rescheduled, officials said.

Concert-goers can email info@levittdayton.org with any questions and can visit levittdayton.org to view the rest of the 2018 concert season.

Italian Fall Festa adds food to go

The Italian Fall Festa has added to-go food offerings because of the weather conditions this weekend. To-go services were added Saturday and will continue Sunday.

Attendees can pay for and pick up their orders at Bella Villa Hall, 2625 County Line Road in Kettering

Dayton Greek Fest offering free admission, bulk food carryout

The Dayton Greek Fest is operating again today and is offering free admission.

Information can be found on the Dayton Greek Fest website.

The festival offered carryout services on Saturday. Today, the festival announced it is selling bulk items, frozen, to take and bake.

Christ Episcopal Church Annual Fair To Be Moved Indoors

Christ Episcopal Church on 409 E. High St. will move its 15th annual neighborhood fair indoors, Rev. Rick Incorvati said. The event is scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m. The fair is set to have free food, music, games and prizes, according to a church press release.

West Carrollton Doggie Dive cancelled

West Carrollton has cancelled is planned Doggie Dive event.

"Due to today’s forecast of continuing rain, as well as flash-flood warnings, today’s Doggie Dive at Wilson Pool has been cancelled. Parks and Recreation staff plan to try the event again next year," according to a news release issued by Erika Mattingly, the city's public relations coordinator.

Marigold Festival cancelled

The Huber Heights Marigold Festival scheduled for today has been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
