Less than 200 now without power after strong winds whip Miami Valley

(UPDATE @ 1:00 a.m.): Less than 200 DP&l customers now are without electric service Monday night in the aftermath of Sunday's high winds.

An estimated 177 customers continue to be affected by outages, according to the utility’s online outage page.

As of 1:00 a.m., DP&L was reporting the following outages:

Montgomery: 83

Shelby: 52

Greene and Miami: 11 each

Champaign: 7

Darke: 5

Logan: 2

Clark: 1

Ohio Edison

Clark:  Fewer than 5

(UPDATE @ 7:45 p.m. Feb. 25):

An estimated 532 DP&L customers are still without power Monday evening as crews continue working to restore all customers by Tuesday evening.

By Monday afternoon, DP&L officials, in a statement posted to the company’s online outage map page, more than 46,000 customers have been restored.

As of 8 p.m., DP&L was reporting the following outages:

Greene: 109

Montgomery: 293

Shelby: 56

Miami: 29

Preble: 13

Champaign: 8

Darke: 7

Logan and Warren: 4 each

Clark and Mercer: 2 each

Ohio Edison

Clark: 12
