A bobblehead of longtime Miamisburg Mayor Dick Church Jr. is being sold to help raise funds for the city’s bicentennial celebration.
The likeness of Church, one of Ohio’s longest-serving mayors, is the first official souvenir to be released for the 2018 celebration of its 200 years.
The bobblehead concept of the seven-term mayor was initiated and is being sponsored by Farmers & Merchants Bank and Miamisburg resident Lee Hieronymous.
The bobblehead can be purchased at Farmers & Merchants Bank, the Miamisburg Parks and Recreation Department and the Miamisburg Historical Society in the Market Square Building on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The $25 donation, which is partially tax deductible, will apply toward costs associated with the city’s bicentennial celebration.
