A West Chester man told Middletown police he was offered a ride home Friday night, but instead, he was robbed of his wallet, $320 in cash, a credit card and identification.
The man said a couple offered him a ride around 1 a.m. Friday from near Eastern Lanes Bowling Alley, and when he told them they were driving the wrong direction, the driver pulled over near the 3800 block of Central Avenue, and beat the man with a silver revolver, according to the report.
The woman also beat the man up, he told police.
The couple then left, the man said. He told police he was too intoxicated to describe the vehicle.
He suffered injuries to his face and scratch marks on his body, the report said. He was treated at Atrium Medical Center. Police were unable to find the couple, the report said.
