Armed men rob Dayton restaurant, assault victim

Dayton police are looking for two men who reportedly robbed a Dayton restaurant at gunpoint late Tuesday night.

Police were dispatched on a reported armed robbery at Sharks Fish and Chicken at 1616 West Third Street around 11:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Medics were also dispatched to the scene after the victim involved reported injuries during the robbery. The condition of the victim and severity of injuries sustained was unknown.

According to dispatch records, two men, armed with handguns, robbed the victim before taking off in a vehicle.

It was not known what the robbers were able to get away with.

It was unknown if police were able to use any surveillance video from the business and a suspect description was not released.
