Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a UDF customer who tried to buy tobacco products with a fake $100 bill.

Xenia officers responded around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday to the convenience store, 340 W. Second St., on a forgery complaint.

The clerk noticed that the bill was counterfeit and contacted police, but the customer fled the store, possibly in a dark-colored SUV.
