A 54-year-old Clayton man is accused of tampering with coin machines at Vandalia Coin Laundry & Car Wash.

Jeffrey Lee Bean was indicted Friday for tampering with coin machines and possession of criminal tools, both felony charges, and attempt to commit breaking and entering, a misdemeanor, for a March 15 incident at the business, 810 S. Dixie Drive in Vandalia, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.

He is due Tuesday for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Bean is in the Montgomery County Jail, where he’s been held since his May 9 arrest.
