“Once all evidence reports are received, we will complete our staff review. The matter will then be scheduled for the Grand Jury to review the facts,” she said in an email in response to questions from the Dayton Daily News.
She said there has been a delay in BCI processing because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Video released in Yellow Springs double shooting
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office began its investigation Feb. 12 when deputies were called to 3443 Grinnell Road and discovered Robert “Reed” Sanders and Cheryl Sanders dead on the side of the road.
Cheryl Sanders was a product spokeswoman and stunt woman who also appeared on the cover of Healthy Living Magazine. The couple was shot by Cheryl Sanders’ ex-husband, Robert “Lindsey” Duncan, authorities said, outside Duncan’s multi-million dollar home.
Lindsey Duncan is the founder of Genesis Today, which promotes health supplements, and he appeared on the Dr. Oz Show and The View nearly a decade ago to talk about weight loss.
Greene County Sheriff Gene Fischer previously described the actions of Reed and Cheryl Sanders as a possible “ambush.” An incident report from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office lists the case as a justifiable homicide.
Molly Duncan, Lindsey’s wife, was with her husband during the incident. She said they were ambushed as they were pulling into the driveway of their home.
“The word ambush is exactly what it was,” Molly Duncan said. “We were caught off guard. They said nothing and they started shooting at us.”
The incident began when Reed Sanders approached the Duncans’ vehicle as it pulled into the driveway, Fischer said.
He said the Duncans were inside their vehicle, then Lindsey Duncan exchanged gunfire with Reed Sanders, who was shot and killed.

“I thought it was a bad nightmare. I didn’t know what to do,” Lindsey Duncan said during a news conference after the shootings. “Whatever happened after that was instinct. It wasn’t me. It was instinct.”
Lindsey Duncan — who has a CCW permit — then shot and killed his ex-wife, Cheryl Sanders, who drove up to the scene soon after the first shooting. She was armed with a gun, Fischer said.
Lindsey Duncan said during his press conference that Cheryl Sanders pointed the weapon toward Molly Duncan’s head. Lindsey Duncan said bullets were flying inches away from his wife’s head and that she was lucky to survive the exchange.
