Authorities were investigating 19 incidents where fake money was circulated in the Sidney community beginning in mid-August. Seized during today’s search was evidence of production of the counterfeit money that officials said was linked to at least three of the incidents.
Barga was booked into the Shelby County Jail on suspicion of four counts of forgery and one count of possession of criminal tools, all felonies. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday, online jail records show.
