Gunshot victim calls 911 for help in Trotwood

UPDATE @ 10:55 p.m.:

A man who was shot tonight and called 911 for help has been taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

The gunshot victim’s condition is not known, but his wound is not believed to be life-threatening, a Trotwood police sergeant said.

The shooting happened at Biddison Avenue and Shiloh Springs Road, behind an apartment building, the sergeant said.

There are no suspects.

FIRST REPORT

Police and medics were called tonight to a report of a shooting.

A gunshot victim was found shortly after 10 p.m. behind a building at the Meadowlark Apartments at Biddison Avenue and Shiloh Springs Road in Trotwood.

The shooting victim’s name, age and condition were not immediately available.
