A Rossburg man accused of coercing teenage girls to send him sexual photos of themselves was sentenced to 35 years in prison, according to the Department of Justice Southern District of Ohio.

James Rapier, 42, pleaded guilty in January to coercing two teenage girls to send him sexually explicit photos.

Rapier was already a registered sex offender during those incidents due to a 2000 conviction of gross sexual imposition and corruption of a minor, according to the DOJ.

In 2005, Rapier was classified as a habitual sex offender after being convicted of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
