While Thomas was searching for his driver's license, the officer noticed a tied sandwich bag containing marijuana in the cup holder between the front and passenger seats.
After the officer asked Thomas to exit the vehicle, a small plastic bag containing multiple gel capsules suspected as an illegal narcotic fell to the ground. Thomas stepped on the bag and attempted to cover up the capsules while being handcuffed, according to the report.
During the officer's search, another sandwich bag containing what the officer suspected as heroin was removed from Thomas' front left pants pocket.
An additional bag with five gel capsules containing a suspected white-grayish narcotic substance was removed from the Bonneville, as well as three cell phones from Thomas' person, according to the report.
Police tagged 2.1 grams of suspected narcotics, 10 gel capsules, and 3.9 grams of marijuana into evidence, as well as Thomas' three cell phones.

Thomas was cited for possession of marijuana, no front license plate, dark window tint and suspensions for a previous warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense.
Thomas was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
