Gearing is incarcerated in the Lebanon Correctional Institution. At the time the case was filed against him, on Feb. 21, he was on probation following his 2012 conviction for felonious assault and kidnapping in Montgomery County, according to Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction and county court records.
He is scheduled to be arraigned June 25.
