For not having any alcohol, she registered high on the breath test

She said she was sick and had not been drinking, except her slurred speech and the smell of alcohol indicated otherwise.

She also said she had driving privileges for work, except at 11 p.m., she wasn’t returning from work on Westbrook Road near Afton Drive.

Her female passenger said, “I’m more sober than she is,” which may have been true, except she wasn’t allowed to drive home, either.

At the police station, the driver registered a .119 on the breath test, well over the .08 limit.

She was cited for speed and driving under suspension, then released to a valid driver.
