Greenville man sentenced to 10 years in prison in federal child porn case

A Greenville man who already was a registered sex offender was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison Friday for possessing child pornography.

Kenneth Musgrave, 55, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 120 months in prison and 20 years of supervised release afterward.

Musgrave’s new legal troubles began when a parole officer searched his cellphone and found more than 200 child pornography files, a press release issued by the United States Attorney’s Southern District of Ohio’s Office says.

Musgrave was convicted in 2000 for rape of a child younger than 13 and gross sexual imposition. He was sentenced to serve a 15-year sentence in that case.

He pleaded guilty in January in the child pornography case.
