Gunman targets Subway restaurant in Harrison Twp.

Deputies are searching for a gunman who robbed a Subway restaurant on Thursday evening in Harrison Twp.

The robbery was reported around 7:30 p.m. at the eatery, 4000 N. Main St.

The robber entered Subway, showed a handgun to an employee and demanded money before fleeing on foot. The robber had short hair and was wearing a gray/black jogging suit and cream-colored bandanna, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

A K-9 tried to track the robber, but he was not caught. No employees were injured.

The robbery remains under investigation.
