Further investigation by the Miami Valley Bulk Smuggling Task Force revealed vehicles that had been at an auto body shop on Valley Street had compartments where illegal drugs and $50,000 in drug proceeds were found, according to court documents.
Search warrants were obtained for Tincher’s Harrison Twp. home and the Valley Street business. Law enforcement seized from the two locations more than $21,000 in cash, six handguns, various ammunition plus drug paraphernalia.
During a February 2017 press conference that displayed edible marijuana, fentanyl, meth and cocaine, then-Montgomery County Sheriff Phil Plummer said: “Hopefully (Tincher) gets the time he deserves.”

Plummer said the drugs had come via a Mexican organization and court documents indicated Tincher had been selling drugs in Harrison and Jefferson townships.
Tincher’s criminal history includes Montgomery County Common Pleas Court cases for aggravated possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, a Kentucky drug case and a previous federal case in Dayton.
Tincher was released from federal prison on Christmas Eve 2015 after he had been sentenced to nine years for distributing oxycodone and cocaine, being a felon in possession and dealing firearms without a license stemming from late 2007 and early 2008.
