UD issues advisory on alleged sex assault at party

The University of Dayton campus police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that was reported by a female student early this morning, according to a safety advisory issued by the university to students.

The victim contacted police at approximately 4 a.m. and reported that the incident happened earlier in the evening during a party at her university-owned residence in the “South Student Neighborhood,” according to the advisory.

The victim told police a male she doesn’t know pushed her into a bedroom and forced her to engage in “non-consensual sex,” according to the advisory.

Report: Rape allegations are up at UD

The victim described her assailant as short to average height and college-aged with short brown hair, according to the advisory.
