Marilyn Shuman had her reception at the Sunset Grille at Little Harbor in Ruskin, Florida, and said "everything was perfect" until she spotted a woman she didn't know, WFTS reported.

“She was not a guest; I had no idea who she was. She approached me because I had been staring at her. She told me she was investigating the venue for her daughter," Shuman told WFTS.

The woman allegedly stole all of Shuman’s gifts except three, which Hillsborough County deputies said totaled about $2,000, according to WFTS.

“We assumed that someone might have picked up all the gifts and cards from the table for us,” Shuman said of the moment she and her husband saw all the gifts were gone.

However, the thief made one mistake that might lead to her arrest.

The woman took a photo and signed Shuman’s memory book. “It's going to seal her fate I hope,” Shuman told WFTS.
