Police in Kettering are looking for the male driver who struck his girlfriend in a restaurant parking lot and fled Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at approximately 5 p.m. at Fricker's, 1818 Woodman Drive.
Lt. Holly Murchland said police are investigating the incident as an assault with a vehicle.
The victim, a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, was taken to Kettering Medical Center for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
Murchland said the vehicle involved was located on Horlacher Avenue, but the driver was nowhere in sight.
Officers continued to actively look for the suspect late Wednesday night.
The victim's condition was not immediately available.
