The Kettering Fairmont and Oakwood school substitute teacher accused of having sex with two students and sending nude photographs to one of them is scheduled to be in court this morning.

No Oakwood students have come forward as possible victims of a substitute teacher charged with two counts of sexual battery against involving two Kettering Fairmont High School students.
Oakwood Schools Superintendent Kyle Ramey sent a letter to district parents on Friday saying that Madeline J. Marx had worked as a substitute aide and substitute teacher in Oakwood in the past year.
Marx, 23, was removed from Fairmont High School on Wednesday and admitted to having sexual relationships with at least two students, according to court documents.
Marx was charged with two counts of sexual battery and her case will be presented to a grand jury, according to the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
She was released from jail Thursday night.
Ramey’s letter explained that Marx worked in Oakwood three days this school year, the last time being Sept. 7.

“She has not worked at (Oakwood High School) or (Oakwood Junior High) since March 24,” he wrote. “We are unaware of any incidents that occurred while she was working here or anything in her background that would have raised red flags.”
Ramey BCI and FBI background checks were done on Marx.
“The safety of our students is always our number one priority, we strive to have the best staff members in all positions in our district,” Ramey wrote. “If you have any further information on this situation, please don’t hesitate to let us know.”
