A man has admitted to charges that he abducted and assaulted his ex-girlfriend and will learn his fate later this month.
Michael B. Thompson II, 23, pleaded guilty to single counts of felony abduction, misdemeanor domestic violence and probation violation. The plea was entered Monday in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
He was indicted Sept. 28 following an incident at his Turner Road home in August. Thompson became violent toward the victim when she stopped at the home to check on the well-being of his 2-year-old child, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
The victim was held against her will for an hour, during which Thompson apparently beat her and poured ketchup and cooking oil on her. Upon her release, the victim went to a relative's home in Clayton and called police, the sheriff's office said.
Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 21.
