An arrest has been made after a home invasion early this morning in Middletown.
The home invasion happened about 2:35 a.m. in the 100 block of North Highview Drive when residents called police saying a man had come into the house with a gun.
Witnesses said four people got out of a vehicle and ran toward the house. One man yelled that his gun had jammed and started kicking in the home’s door, according to the police report.
Bullet holes were found in a 2008 Acura parked at the home and a gun was located in the back yard with four rounds next to it.
Middletown police have taken Adam Gayhart, 28, of the 2000 block of William Court in Hamilton, into custody. He is charged with four counts of felonious assault.
