When Brenner, based in Mason, failed to appear in court, Lebanon Municipal Court Judge Mark Bogen issued a default judgment in the lawsuit, Buchanan said.
Brenner’s license was suspended in August, after the case was filed, according to the case docket.
Buchanan said he was satisfied with the recommended discipline, provided Brenner makes restitution.
The Ohio Board of Professional Conduct is a 28-member quasi-judicial body appointed by the Supreme Court to make recommendations to the court on disciplinary cases.
