Missing endangered adult, Dorothy Reker was located in a parking lot in Springboro by an alert citizen, according to a press release from Centerville Police Department.
Reker was sleeping in her vehicle, but she was unharmed and in good health.
She was reunited with family and is home, the release stated.
“We would like to thank the public and our media partners for their assistance in locating and returning Mrs. Reker home safely. We are grateful for and appreciate all the support that you provided. Thank you,” said Community Relations Officer John Davis of the Centerville Police Department.
UPDATE @ 11:17 a.m. (August 19):
Dorothy Reker, 85, of Centerville was located in Springboro Sunday around 8 a.m., according to Centerville dispatch.
Reker had been missing since Friday.
UPDATE @ 6:40 p.m. (August 18):
The Centerville Police Department is still investigating the whereabouts of Dorothy Reker, the missing endangered adult from Centerville.
Their investigation revealed that she may have been in the Waynesville, Ohio area around 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 17, and a second witness believes she saw Reker’s vehicle traveling northbound on State Route 741 in Springboro, Ohio around 11:30 p.m.
There have been no other reported sighting.

A Missing Endangered Adult Alert is in effect for a missing 85-year-old Centerville woman.
Dorothy Reker was last seen at noon Friday when she left her residence and failed to return. She stands 4 feet, 11 inches, weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. She suffers from memory loss and is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease, according to the Centerville Police Department.
She drives a gold 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser, Ohio plate DZA 3245.
Anyone who spots Reker or her vehicle is urged to call 911 or the Ohio Attorney General Missing Persons Unit, 866-693-9171.
