More charges for accused teen Speedway robber

UPDATE @ 5:30 p.m. (June 2): Caroline Darrah has been charged with aggravated robbery in last month's Beavercreek Speedway robbery.

Her parents, Leah Darrah and Joseph Darrah Sr., have each been charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery in the Beavercreek case.

UPDATE @ 8:45 a.m. (June 1): The suspect, Caroline Darrah, is now facing charges filed by Centerville police related to the May 25 robbery at the Speedway on Wilmington Pike.

Centerville police records indicate a grand jury will consider charges against the 18-year-old, who remains in the Montgomery County Jail.

Darrah is suspected of robbing several Speedway stores throughout the area.

EARLIER

Police are investigating whether an 18-year-old woman is possibly connected to several Speedway robberies in the area.

Caroline Darrah has been charged with robbery in connection to a crime at 2232 Needmore Road earlier this week.

Deputies said they believe the teen may also be involved in several other Speedway robberies since May 17, including ones in Centerville, Beavercreek, Fairborn and Miami Twp.

No charges have been approved for her mother, Leah Darrah, but she remains in jail on unrelated warrants.

Both women were arrested after Beavercreek police located a suspected getaway vehicle at their home on Willow Run Drive in Beavercreek on Monday.
