Near dog bite leads to threat of lawsuit, jail

BEAVERCREEK – A visit turned into a near dog bite which led to the threat of a lawsuit and the incarceration of the woman who owned the home.

The self-proclaimed victim in the incident said he was visiting a couple of buddies when he went upstairs and was nearly – but not quite – bitten by the family dog.

The mother of one of the victim’s buddies, who appeared intoxicated and on pills when she was notified, proceeded to slap the messenger/victim.

A scuffle broke out resulting in some minor hand cuts, and the mother told police the victim threatened to sue and take her house if the dog bit him, which he didn’t.

She, however, was the one who began the assault, and was the one arrested and taken to the Fairborn jail.
