The video, shot in February but just released, shows Latimer outside of the strip club with a man TMZ identified as Latimer’s uncle.

Latimer is shown talking to the bouncer with his hand on the bouncer’s shoulder, which the bouncer removes repeatedly. Latimer then slaps the bouncer, which the bouncer retaliates to with a punch and then proceeds to pepper spray the football star.

“We are aware of the matter from several months ago involving Cody Latimer and it has been discussed with him,” the Broncos said in a statement Sunday.

Latimer and his friends left the scene without incident.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said they were not contacted by the club and no report of the altercation was filed. Latimore has not been charged with anything in relation to the video.

Latimer, who says he was trying to “settle things down” in the video, addressed the incident on Twitter Sunday.

“It’s unfortunate that something from six months ago that didn’t result in anything all of this sudden becomes a big story,” Latimer wrote. “I know I have to be careful of the situations I put myself in because I expect a lot of myself.”

The Denver Post says that the NFL will review the case “for possible violation of its personal-conduct policy.

Latimer, a 2011 graduate of Jefferson Twp. High School, was a first team all-conference selection after scoring 12 touchdowns in his senior season, despite playing in just eight games.

High school recruiting site ranked Latimer as the 49th best wide receiver in the class of 2011.

He was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Broncos and was a member of the team’s Superbowl 50 win over the Carolina Panthers.

Latimer has 16 receptions for 158 yards and one touchdown in 34 career NFL games.
