Police blotter

BELLBROOK (Jan. 1) – Officers checked a residence on Vemco Drive at the owner’s request. A rear door was found unlocked and ajar. The door was secured.

BELLBROOK (Jan. 1) – Fireworks was reported in the Polo Trace area. Nothing was located.

BELLBROOK (Jan. 2) – A vehicle was stolen from a Wilmington-Dayton Road residence. There are no suspects.

BELLBROOK (Jan. 2) – A woman and a 7-month-old child were reportedly walking in subzero temperatures on Tareyton Drive. They were located and returned home without incident.

BELLBROOK (Jan. 4) – A dog attack was reported in the Washington Mill Road area. The residents took in a stray pit bull because of the extreme cold and the dog attacked the resident’s basset hound causing severe wounds. Greene County Animal Control removed the pit bull.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 2) – Breaking and entering was reported on Spangler Road.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 2) – Fraud/forgery was reported from Reese Drive.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 2) – Harassment was reported on Settlers Trail.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 3) – A disabled vehicle was reported near University boulevard and Colonel Glenn Highway.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 4) – A warrant was served on Fitchland Drive.

FAIRBORN (Jan. 4) – Harassment was reported on Whitetail Drive.

SUGARCREEK TWP. (Dec. 31) – A suspicious vehicle was reported on Carpenter Road.

SUGARCREEK TWP. (Dec. 31) – An animal complaint was received from Stewart Road.

SUGARCREEK TWP. (Jan. 1) – A welfare check was conducted on Lower Bellbrook Road.
