Police: Girlfriend stabs man in the back

Huber Heights Police say a man was stabbed by his girlfriend in an apparent domestic situation.

Officers were dispatched around 3 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a 911 hang-up call when they found the victim, identified as a 52-year-old man, stabbed in the back.

Police say he was stabbed by his 49-year-old girlfriend in what appears to be a domestic incident.

The man’s injuries are believed to be non-life threatening and has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators are questioning the woman involved and charges are pending.

FIRST REPORT:

Police and medics in Huber Heights are on the scene of a stabbing reported in the 5800 block of Prince Edward Way.

Initial reports indicate police responded to the area around 3 a.m. on a 911 hang-up call near the address. Police then requested a medic when the victim was found with a stab wound in the back.

Reports also indicate a K9 has been requested to attempt to track a potential suspect.
