Police make arrests in Xenia home invasion

The last suspect in this home invasion, Richard L. Nared, was booked into Greene County Jail Tuesday night on aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and failure to appear charges.

EARLIER REPORT (Nov. 17)

Two of three suspects in a home invasion last month in Xenia, where a 92-year-old resident was assaulted, are in custody.

The male victim answered a knock on his door at his Delta Avenue home and multiple people rushed in and assaulted him, according to a release from Xenia police.

The home invasion happened the evening of Oct. 23.

Police said the home invaders pinned the victim on the floor, stole money and fled in a vehicle, according to the release.

Two of the suspects are in custody.

Timothy Dunlap was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery; and Yolanda L. Cowin, 33, is being held in the Greene County Jail on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Police said investigators continue to search for the third suspect, Richard L. Nared, who should be considered armed and dangerous.
