The teen told police and her mother about the abuse after they learned she was pregnant during an unrelated doctor's visit, according to the TV station. She was four months pregnant, Bay News 9 reported.
The girl told police she had never been sexually active with anyone other than her mother's boyfriend, 41-year-old Mark Phillip Sutton.
Records from Pinellas County Jail show Sutton was arrested on multiple charges, including sexual battery of someone over whom he had familial authority, and multiple counts of lewd or lascivious molestation.
He remained jailed Wednesday morning.
Pinellas Park police continue to investigate the case.
