Police moved in to arrest her, but Steffes fled into the water and removed her clothes. A witness said Steffes had to be wrestled to shore, according to KETV. Once on shore, she cursed at the officers, and spit and kicked at them.
The incident was captured on an officer’s body camera.
The children with Steffes were placed in protective custody and Steffes was taken to jail.
