Police pursuit started in Huber Heights ends in Dayton

Our crew observed one person taken away from the scene in handcuffs.

Huber Heights police did not give an update on the status of their investigation.

Police in Huber Heights and Dayton are searching for at least four men who fled from a vehicle involved in a pursuit Wednesday morning.

Reports indicate police from Huber Heights initiated a pursuit that ended in a crash in the area of Stanley Avenue and Leo Street.

According to police scanner traffic, four men, possibly juveniles, fled from the vehicle on foot. Officers from Dayton and Huber Heights, along with rangers from MetroParks are searching in the area of Island MetroPark and Triangle Park in case the men fled into the Great Miami River.

It was unknown why police started the pursuit.

Our crew on the scene reports a gun was recovered by police at the scene.
