Preble County man indicted on sex-related charges involving a child

A man in Preble County has been indicted on child-sex related charges, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s office.

Bradley Monebrake, 32, of Eaton, was indicted on five felonies involving alleged sexual assault. The charges are attempted rape of a victim under the age of 10, attempted gross sexual imposition, possession of criminal tools, two counts of violation of protection order, misdemeanor obstruction and misdemeanor voyeurism.

He is due in court on Wednesday for an arraignment, according to a press release by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

If convicted, Monebrake could face life in prison and a lifetime of having to register as a Tier 3 child sexual offender, the Attorney General’s office said. The case is being prosecuted and investigated by the Attorney General’s office.
