Rite Aid in Clark County reportedly robbed by suspect in ‘construction worker’ attire

Police are searching for a suspect in a reported robbery of the Rite Aid pharmacy location in the Park Layne neighborhood of Bethel Twp.

The robbery was reported at about 11:24 a.m. today, according to emergency dispatch traffic.

“He came in wearing construction worker attire and a lime green vest,” Clark County Sheriff Deb Burchett said.

The man was carrying a handgun, she said, and demanded pills from the store’s pharmacy.

Burchett said there was recently a similar robbery in the Dayton area and investigators are looking into whether they might be connected.
