In September 2018, Owens sexually assaulted an acquaintance after a social gathering at the victim’s home, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost stated in a release.
Owens also was labeled a Tier III sexual offender; once released, he will be required to register his address with his local sheriff every three months for life.
The case was prosecuted by Yost’s special prosecutions section.
