Police say Thomas McMahon, 31, sold heroin to a man who died of a drug overdose. Bond was set at $20,000. McMahon remains in the Shelby County Jail.
Police arrested McMahon on Feb. 28, after investigating the Feb. 23 death of Bryan Thompson, 31, at a home in the 300 block of New Street..
Police said Thompson died of a heroin overdose and that McMahon supplied the drug that caused Thompson's death.
A search of McMahon's home in the 600 block of North Main Avenue revealed that McMahon "was engaged in drug activity behavior," according to a release from Sidney police.
