Sleepy men at gas station cited for marijuana

CLAY TWP., Montgomery County – Two suspicious males were found sleeping in a vehicle at 2:25 a.m. in the parking lot of a gas station in 6500 block W. National Road.

Officers woke them and smelled marijuana when the door was opened. Asked if there was any marijuana left, the passenger pulled some out of his pocket, maybe as a peace offering.

The driver said he didn’t think there was anything else of the same genre in the car, except police found a dringer and metal pipe with green leafy residue, which the passenger claimed as his.

That earned him a citation for drug paraphernalia and possession. Both sleepy-heads were then released.
